Earlier, recognized as the ‘Rio Carnival of East’, Durga Puja the annual invocation and worship of Shakti is the biggest carnival of the world. And to celebrate this grand affair with the perfect mélange of glitz and royalty, Dream Nurturist’s Avenue-DNA, the organizers of the colossal event ‘NARAYANI NAMASTUTE 2018’ are all set to return with ‘NARAYANI NAMASTUTE-2019’. The organization aims at creating and nurturing the people’s dreams by celebrating the event with them.
What is 'NARAYANI NAMASTUTE'?
It is a Puja Parikrama organized during Durga Puja in the boundaries of Delhi NCR to encourage the spirit of Bengalis, Odias & the Assamese to celebrate this colossal and joyous moment together with their entire family & friends. To encourage the efforts made by all the Durga Puja Samitis, the organization awards the best Durga Puja Committees based on the parameters set. The idea is to collaborate with various categories of puja like-Theme puja, Best idol (from different zones), Eco-friendly pujas, Society puja, Best Initiative in Social Welfare, Best Pandal decoration (In different zones), Best Management, etc. It is a B2C event that reaches to the mass in crores, through the organization's promotional activities during this festival.
What's different this year?
For the first time, the event “NARAYANI NAMASTUTE-2019, Puja Parikrama” will witness West Bengal along with Delhi NCR. The event will encompass all the major Durga Puja Committees in and around the two cities. There will be a committee selecting 100 pujas in Bengal and 40 pujas in Delhi NCR. The photographers will snap all the finally selected Puja pandals, and in Bengal, the team of juries will move from 1st October and the winners will be announced on 5th October. And in Delhi, NCR photographers will visit on Panchami & Shasthi. The Jury will visit the Puja pandals after the final selection as per the theme & concept and set parameters/guidelines on Shasthi & Saptami. The prizes will be announced on Maha-Ashtami. Durga Puja Committees will be rewarded based on a few parameters – Theme puja, best idol (from different zones), Echo friendly pujas, Society puja, Small budget pujas, Best Initiative in Social Welfare, Best Pandal, etc. Finally, there will be a prize distribution for the best pujas in Delhi NCR and Bengal.

A glimpse of "NARAYANI NAMASTUTE-2018"
The yesteryear event was a grand success and received an overwhelming response and support from all the organizers of Durga puja. The Jury for the event was Uday Shankar (Cartoonist) and Bipasha Sengupta (Artist), who witnessed many beautifully crafted eco-friendly pandals. The organization had hired two cars for this purpose and displayed a banner in front of the vehicles that moved through all the prominent locations and covered all the renowned and associated theme-based Durga Puja Pandals. All the associated Durga puja committees received the event’s official banners along with a participation certificate and a memento. All the associated Puja Pandals were clicked on Panchami & Shashthi. From Shasthi evening till next day Saptami the jury visited all the Puja pandals after the final selection as per the theme, concept, and idol. The winners were announced on Maha-Ashtami. The event started in the presence of Manish Sisodia, Deputy CM, Delhi at Milani Cultural and Welfare Society, Mayur Vihar. Later, Hon’ble Defence Minister of India -Rajnath Singh also graced the occasion at Matri Mandir, Safdarjung Enclave. Finally, there was a prize distribution for the best puja in Delhi NCR in different categories. The winning Puja Pandals received a 10” X 8” banner mentioning their position and the category along with a memento and a framed certificate.
