Gujarat International Financial Tech-City Gets Its First International Hotel

The first international hotel brand in the first operational smart city in the country is now open. Brigade Group has launched its first hotel outside South India, Grand Mercure Gandhinagar in GIFT City.

Grand Mercure Gandhinagar GIFT City is located in the heart of GIFT City Gandhinagar, India's first International Financial Service Centre. The hotel is within walking distance from the major business center. The hotel has 151 rooms and suites have interconnecting and long stay options. It has a pillar-less Ballroom that can accommodate up to 200 guests. It is the only upscale hotel in GIFT City, it is within 20 min drive from Ahmedabad Airport. The hotel is ideal for corporate conferences, training programs, and social events. It also has an Infinity pool with a separate party area. It is built to cater to the demands of seasoned frequent travelers looking for quality accommodation and admirers of the inventive homegrown interior. The hotel also has a specialty restaurant Samaroh, which offers local quintessential Gujarati delicacies. Guests are welcomed with a Gujarati Thali which truly captures the flavors of the state and is a treat to reckon with.
