Bollywood Fashion That Inspired Style Trends In Events

Bollywood plays a very vital role in hitting young minds hard at what they should be like and it has always managed to be the ideal go-to for creating a style statement.

Ladies! Here are a few trends brought back into style by some retro flicks for which ever event you wanna go to, to stand out from the crowd!

Bobby (1973) – Polka dots

It was the grand Bollywood debut of Dimple Kapadia. She glamed up in her front-tying crop top with polka dots and ful sleeves. It is still considered as a trendy , simple yet peppy option for young girls to wear at casual, sporting and fun events.

Chandni (1989) - Vibrant chiffon sarees

Women of India went crazy as Sridevi donned the vibrant saree outfit. She made the vibrant chiffon sarees fashionable with films like Chandni and Mr India (1987). Every woman still wants to slay chiffon sarre looks at weddings and traditional events or even entertainment ocassions just like how Sridevi does with Anil Kapoor in the song I Love You from Mr. India. A popular moviemakers gave Sridevi a tribute by bringing back the Chiffon saree outfit in the movie Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.

Jab We Met (2007) – T-shirts with Patiala salwar pants

No one has ever been able to make T-shirts and Patiala pants look as cool as Kareena Kapoor in Jab We Met. For a very long time, everyone tried to pull off this fashion statement and it still is followed by many women not only for style but also as it is quite comforting and effortless to get on with.
