#EMCEESPEAKS – Highlights Of Club Mahindra #MEETTHEREALSANTA Event

Club Mahindra Holidays is one of the most dependable names in the leisure and hospitality sector. During the recent holiday season they came up with a HEART TO HEART MEET for their club members which was themed around Christmas and Santa Claus.

I was roped in to host the full day event at Hyatt Regency Mumbai, with several attractions from spa zone to multiple entertainment options such as games with goodies and exciting prizes, here are the top highlights from the day.

THE MEET THE REAL SANTA CONTEST

“Did you know that Santa lives in Finland at Santa Village?” that was the catch phrase of the day as Club Mahindra wanted to introduce their members to the experience of Santa Village. A truly magical place where it is Christmas all year round.

To make the Christmas experience extra special for families with young kids, as we all know how much kids love Santa, Club Mahindra ran the #MEETTHEREALSANTA contest.In this, the kids were asked to write a letter to Santa listing 3 good deeds they did In the past year. Then they were to mail it to the North Pole through the magic letter box that was placed at the pre-function area.The lucky winner was to win a family stay at Holiday club Saariselka in Finland.

ENGAGING THE MEMBERS

To keep the day interactive for the visitors of all age we carried out several interesting games.This was done at every 20 minute interval and almost 100 plus goodies were distributed amidst the visiting guests from ages 5 to 50 plus.

Some interesting facts around Christmas also came out with the quiz questions such as – the names of Santa’s reindeers and the different Christmas customs around the world.Singing Christmas carols and making people mimic the Santa’s signature HO HOHO laugh got its share of smiles and laughter going.

OTHER ATTRACTIONS

The event was divided in two halls one was the meetings room where Clun Mahindra executives briefed the members on the various exciting plans for holiday season and other was the activity area where along with games we had activities such as –Spa, Tattoo Artist, Balloon Art, Decorative Art, Tarot Reading and Caricaturing to name a few.

DÉCOR

It was truly a Christmas ambience with everything placed perfectly to invoke the spirit of holidays in visitors.A life size Christmas tree, for guests to decorate , a photo booth with elf cut outs , a colour scheme of red , green and white keeping all the elements of the festival in mind, Santa images spread throughout.

The management was skilfully handled by team Fountainhead , under the supervision of Niket Parikh. DhairyaZaveri helped me with the added inputs before the event on execution and client expectations.Yet another fulfilling day at work wrapped. Off to the next stage.
