HIGHLIGHTS OF NPL I M POSSIBLE ALL INDIA DEALER’S MEET @ NOVOTEL IMAGICA

Nandan Petrochem Limited was established in the year 1992 and is one of the leading manufacturers of genuine oils, greases and speciality oils. The complete product range is branded under the name VELVEX. As a host for the 2 day delegation I got an opportunity to observe the following. Here are some key points summing up the event.

The Theme-'I-M-Possible'

In these times of economic cynicism the NPL team decided to go for a theme that defied conventional practical thinking. The theme suggested dreamers to be impractical, and how success stories are created in the midst of adversities.

ENTHUSIASTIC LEADERSHIP

Mr. Nandan Agarwal, Managing Director headed a team of very driven and experienced professionals with a vision completely aligned to the event crux’I-M-Possible’. He also shared his ambnition for the company with an unwavering confidence and the goal of being a part of the 2000 crore club.

Along with this there were several other presentations covering topics such as planning, marketing and expert talks from the industry.

Alisha Abdullah, India’s first female racing champion is the official brand ambassador for Velvex. NPL is the only petrochemical brand collaborating with a female sportsperson in a male dominated space. Alisha was the first woman to cross the 285 km/hour mark in bike racing along with 12 male contestants when she reached top 5 at the JK TYRE national racing championship. She took pride in her association with the VELVEX brand and motivated the crowd with her story and success tips.

Mr Shreenarayan Agarwal, Founder and Chairman,NPL took to the stage to share his real life journey from a service going father’s son to a successful Entrepreneur amongst a standing ovation from his NPL family. He talked about his doubtful times and difficulties. Also about, how he never gave up on his dream and took every challenge head on to bring NPL to its present standing.

AWARDS, ENTERTAINMET & TEAM BUILDING ACTIVITIES

The best performances of the previous year both in distribution and sales were awarded. Alongside this there were entertaining performances including – Bollywood dance acts and a performance by DJ Ashika Mirza the winner of “Queen of Mashups” that made the crowd groove to her music.

The next day was initiated with some team building activities with debriefs pertaining to lessons in carrying out a business. After which, the delegates proceeded for some leisure time at IMAGICA.

I received valuable support from Mr. Pankaj Mittal, my co-host during the awards and Mr. Abhishek Pathak from NPL to run the stage operations smoothly. The event was well managed by team SOS NITELIFE. It was yet another fulfilling day at work.
