DIWA : The Wedding Business Networking Meet Ends After An Evening Of Collaborations And Insights.

Surat witnessed its first ever B2B networking event for wedding professionals organized by Dazzling India Wedding Affair. The event celebrated 7 Glorious Years of EPFRATERNITY with renowned personalities from EPF in attendance. 

  

  

The event was inaugurated by the director of DVOKA Eventz and Curator of DIWA - Mr. Amit Bisani, accompanied by peer industry leaders like Mr. Prashob Saini, Himanshu Shah, Harpreet Bagga, Neeraj Thakur, Sanjeev Kapoor, Martin Emmanuel, Mr. Arshad Hussain, Khushroo Kekobad, CA Gaurav V Singhvi, Nirav Vachhani, Khantil Mehta and singer Rini Chandra. The proceedings of the event were carried out by Hyderabad's Anchor/emcee, Mihir Pujara. The inauguration was followed by brief addresses from Mr. Amit Bisani and Mr. Prashob Saini respectively, addressing the vision of making DIWA PAN India.  

  

‘Destination Wedding’ was the topic for the first panel discussion. The panel witnessed the presence of Event Management Association of Kerala), Harpreet Bagga (President FOREM-Federation of Rajasthan Event Managers), Neeraj Thakur (General Secretary of TCEI-Telangana Chamber of Events Industry), Nirav Vachhani (Founder at Blueleaf Experience) and was moderated by Mr. Arshad Hussain (The event guru and immediate past president of FOREM). The panel discussion highlighted how every state should share their USPs to create good opportunities for each other that would also result in the expansion of the wedding industry. 

  

After hearing the strong-headed opinions, the audience was enthralled  by a musical extravaganza from The Saregamapa 2010 Finalist and Popular Singer “Rini Chandra" along with Udaan Band, which is known for Spreading Joy in Humanity and Creating Platforms for Artists by Ongoingly Perform Free (without any charges) to Support Samaaj,  Sansthas, Causes,  Purposes, Rallies and Road Shows.  

  

To host the next lineups Anchor Manasvi Vyas took to the stage and continued the evening. Renowned Personalities from EPFraternity including Himanshu Shah (Chief Mentor SOI Live Marketing & Industry Luminary), CA Gaurav V Singhvi (The financial supermarket, executive director-BNI Surat), Khushroo Kekobad (Director- Live On Space Entertainment Pvt. Ltd) and  Khantil Mehta  (Founder and creative head of gobananas events and INIT Design Studio)  shared their views on the 'Power of Networking'. The discussion was moderated by Sanjeev Kapoor (President KEMA-Karnataka Event Management Association). 

  

The final panel discussion was the first one ever in the history of Indian events industry of the biggest gathering of Indian event industry leaders. The 9-event industry association representators -Mr. Prashob Saini, Himanshu Shah, Harpreet Bagga, Neeraj Thakur, Sanjeev Kapoor, Martin Emmanuel, Mr. Arshad Hussain, Nirav Vachhani and Khantil Mehta, were together on one platform. The discussion was a one on one session moderated by Mr. Prashob Saini highlighting the role of the association in shaping the industry. 

  

The event ended on a musical note by a melodious performance by Bollywood Playback Singer and Live Performer- Chaittali Shrivasttava. 

Commenting about the event, The Saregamapa 2010 Finalist and Popular Singer 'Rini Chandra' said, "I am really happy to perform at DIWA meet. Despite the serious talk taking place in the panel discussions, I managed to make them all dance to my tunes when I got on -stage. I am really happy to meet so many people here. I have gathered many cards and I am really looking forward to working with everybody". She also extended her gratitude to DVOKA Eventz and EPF for bringing people from different parts of the event industry together under one roof.  

  

On an ending note, Mr. Prashob Saini (Founder-Chairman of Event Planners Federation) said, "It was a historic day for the industry at large because the wedding fraternity with the larger events industry had 9 different bodies being represented on one platform. All the industry leaders came together for a better future for all the stakeholders in the supply chain. There were wonderful entertaining performances by Bollywood stars as well as it was lit with panel sessions discussing the topics in concern that are pertaining to the industry. It was a momentous time with all the love from the industry towards the society, that will take the nation forward".
