The luxury tent by The Ultimate Travelling Camp at Kumbh 2019

The Ultimate Travelling Camp (TUTC) will once again keep date with ‘Prayagraj’ at the Kumbh 2019, which will commence from 14 January to 5^th March 2019.

A glamping brand by Cox & Kings, The Ultimate Travelling Camp (TUTC) has started the luxury tent concept from Kumbh Mela 2013 at Allahabad. Now, at Kumbh 2019, TUTC will set up 44 luxury tents at highest point close to the Sangam – Sangam Nivas - to help guests soak in the Kumbh euphoria in a safe, secure and comfortable environment.

Rajnish Sabharwal, COO announced the the details of the TUTC Sangam Nivas facilities at a media briefing in Delhi. He said, “The whole area will be fortified with CCTV coverage and 24-hour security. Sangam Nivas will offer exceptional services including unlimited Wi-fi, 24x7 security, paramedic, etc. The 44 tents put-together can accommodate around 88 guests on a given day.”

TUTC will try to impart specially curated activities including yoga and meditation sessions, evening Aarti, spiritual discourses, culinary experiences, wellness sessions, etc. for guests at Sangam Nivas.

Rajnish Sabharwal said, “Our first camp was at 2013 Kumbh and we have expanded taking that success with us. These camps will definitely encourage a different segment of guests who otherwise would not visit such places and ceremonies. We are offering a safe, secure and comfortable place for them to soak in the Kumbh experience.”

According to information given by Rajnish Sabharwal, the tariff will range between INR 28,000 and 45,000 with slight variations on the more auspicious ‘Snan’ days. He said that they will encourage guests to have a package of three days at least especially on those days.

While the Sangam Nivas facility will be ready by last week of December, they expect first guests to arrive by 10 January. The last booking will be till 5 March.

The promotions and marketing of the facility has started in advance this year and TUTC is hopeful of doing a very high occupancy rate throughout the season. Rajnish Sabharwal said, “The response has been encouraging and we receive on an average two dozen bookings every day. TUTC will have a strong team of around 80 people at Sangam Nivas to take care of every need and comfort of guests.”
