A mythical bird that is a fire spirit builds itself a nest of twigs that then ignites; both nest and bird burn fiercely and are reduced to ashes, from which a new, young Phoenix arises, reborn anew to live again.

An apt name for a band which has members from prominent bands, current and past, reborn anew to bring life to Classic Rock, Reggae, Blues and Jazz Fusion; genres favored most by the pub going crowd of Hyderabad while also staying true to the band member’s musical roots. 

With a combined count of over 500 shows the members of the band have played at a variety of venues and for several high profile events ranging from The Conga Rock Fest of ’88 (Mumbai) to the VONAMOR Rock Fest 2009 (Bengaluru) and the recent National Youth Festival 2011 (Udaipur). Along the way the members of this band have shared the stage with the likes of Soulmate, PARIKRAMA, JunkYard Groove, Avial, Divaz & Thermal And a Quarter to name a few…Phoenix has taken the twin cities by storm, bringing classic rock and reggae to the large pub growing crowd, recently breaking records at the Hard Rock Café HYD.
