The word Magic is derived from the latin word “Magia “ which means religion and occult practice. The hold of magic is less today because of the development of science and technology. Magician claims that he has secret powers to control nature but it is not so. In science there is a cause and effect relation ship. For eg for any happening of an event there is a cause whereas in magic it is not so. Science distinguishes between animate and inanimate things eg A man cannot be converted into stone and vice versa. If any thing can be converted in anything then its no longer a science but magic.Magic is nothing but slight of hands.
