'I sang before I spoke; my whole school and college life was filled with performances and awards on stage, be it for dancing, singing, acting or elocution. My first step professionally, was hosting those wildly famous and packed 'Karaoke Nights' at Jazz By The Bay, in Mumbai. I was never shy to be in front of a crowd, so I loved it. I got a free meal, got to perform in front of people and most importantly, I got to sing.'
After a 5 year hiatus in Switzerland, smack bang in the middle of a successful career, Ramona Arena returned to the hustle and bustle of Mumbai in 2011. She says, 'Life has been full of exciting adventures. I have been one of the lucky few people who managed to extend their personality, into their career.'
