Raghab Chattopadhyay started his music as a guitarist at the age of 9 from Pradyut banerjee. After 10years of practice he started professional playing with so many renowned singers in Kolkata and also in radio television. His singing is a natural habit from childhood. Raghab was a great admirer and listener of S.D. Burman, R.D. Burman, Madanmohan, Sudhin Dasgupta, Salil Chaudhury, Rabindra Jain and so many legendary music composers and singers of India. His mother Smt. Shila Chatterjee also a finest classical artist who encouraged him to start singing. He started to his mother and after that Dr Amiya Ranjan Banerjee and finally he got chance at ITC/SRA under guru Pt. Ajoy Chakraborty for 6 years. Last 6years he is taking lessons from Ustad Rashid Khan.
