Redemption was formed in early 2012..It is an Alternative and Progressive Rock Band from Kolkata..with elements of the psychedelic influences, intended to break the boundaries of traditional rock music in a greater and wide range including experimental compositional methods.

The Band was formed under the banner Redemption in early 2012 .. with 6 members. Previously it was known as Down to Earth. 

Though a number of lineup changes followed, the other four original members remained together along.
Former vocalist, Sumanta Ghosh left d band for personal reasons ...after some ups and downs Sourick Banerjee finally joined as our new Vocalist for Redemption. The Band is running in full swing with so many projects in hand.. more compositions will come soon . Keep Rocking...
