Himesh Reshammiya belongs to Gujarat. His father Vipin Reshammiya was born at Dungar,A small village near Rajula.Himesh can fluently speak Gujarati. At just 16 years old and before Himesh Reshammiya went into music direction, he produced television serials for TV which included serials such as “Andaz” & “Amar Prem. The first big break came when Himesh Reshammiya approached Salman Khan (who had just made it big with the hit movie “Maine Pyar Kiya”) who gave Himesh the chance to be a music director for the movie “Bandhan” along with the composer Anand Raj Anand
