Ritika Sahni holds a Master's Degree in Music from Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata, and was honoured with a Gold Medal for her outstanding performance. She is a noteworthy singer and performer from India.
Ritika has a melodious and trained voice which sings Indian and Western pop, Bollywood Film Songs, and Light Indian Classical Songs. She has many original Film Songs and Solo Albums to her credit. She does very dazzling shows across India and abroad with her band of musicians, dancers and stage craft technicians.
Ritika has produced a number of albums such as "HAPPY DAY" and "TIM TIM TARA" which comprise of original and traditional nursery rhymes for children.
Recently she has come up with an album of Traditional Prayer Songs titled "JYOTIRGAMAYA", in which she has transformed devotional poems of MEERA, KABEER or YAKRANG into a contemporary aural structure of music.
Apart from being a music maker, Ritika has an identity of a Disability Activist too. She has an academic background pertaining to Deaf Education from Ali Yavar Jung Institute, Mumbai.
