Sanchaita Chaudhuri was trained by her Late Guru Pandit A.Kanan and Late Bidushi Malabika Kanan of Kirana Gharana. Thereafter She received music lessons from Late Ustad Amir Khan's disciple & accompanist Pandit Kamal Banerjee. She also came in touch with Pandit Sunil Mukherjee (Delhi), Dr.Haricharan Varma ( Delhi), Pandit Kumar Prasad Mukherjee(Kolkata) and Alok Chattopadhyay (Kolkata) for further enrichment of classical Music.After Graduating in Science from Calcutta University Sanchaita has been a  Student of ITC Sangeet Research Academy in Tollygunge, Kolkata & she has been regularly performing in AIR from 1987. During her musical training period, Sanchaita has been approved as an "A" Grade Artist in Kheyal and "B" high in Thumri by All India Radio from 1993. She has also been a national Scholarship recipient from the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. Sanchaita is also an empanelled artist of Indian Council of Cultural Relations (I.C.C.R) of Government of India.
