Sandeep Batra, a software engineer from Delhi University, is trained in Hindustani classical music under Pandit Baldev Raj Verma. He enthralled the music lovers when he stepped on the stage to sing at the tender age of six and has won various National level competitions both on screen and off screen including All India Radio’s Best Ghazal Singer in 2004 and Best Singer award in 2005 by A R Rahman and Khayyam Sahib at a Nation wide Talent hunt. Winner of SaReGaMaPa (Zee Tv) , Sandeep became a familiar face in the Indian music industry with a huge fan following after he made it to the TOP 5 of fame gurukul on Sony Tv where judges like Shankar Mahadevan, Javed Akhtar and KK highly commended his performance.
