Scalene is a charismatic band that comprises of 5 members (Ranjan Dewan - Bass ,Sahadev Lama - Guitars, Sanjiv Rai- Guitars, Amit Gurung- Drums/Percussions,Richie Wong – Vocals) who hail from Darjeeling. They play Acoustic and Electric Sets. The current base of the band is New Delhi. Although the formation of the band took place in late 2013, but individually the members of the band have been playing and performing Music for almost a decade now. The genre of Music that the Band specializes in is Classic Rock, Rock n roll, Blues, Soft Rock, Reggae, Country music and lots of dancing numbers keeping their audiences glued to the dance floor.
