Shalisha Fernandes is not just another guitar playing Rock chick. She is an aggressive singer-songwriter with tons of originality and musical spirit. This babe would give most guys a run for their headbanging skills. An ace entertainer, Shalisha Fernandes has enthralled many…… a music lover with her power packed live performances. She has almost 50 original compositions to her credit, which also includes gospel tracks.
Shalisha began playing guitar at the age of 15, inspired by her brother. She started composing her own music at the age of 18. She then began participating in karaoke & singing competitions.
Her 1st singing competition was the “Battle of stars”, where she emerged as the runner up. With her track “Just walk away”, she bagged a special prize as the “Best original singer/songwriter” at the Voice of Goa 2010, offered by Goa’s most famous musician Remo Fernandes, where she was given the opportunity to record with the Rockstar himself! She also won the title for the “Best original song” in the English category at the Radio Mirchi Soundcheck 2011.
