Smt. Shikha Nath was initiated her musical journey into North Indian Classical Music at her very childhood in a Musical environment at Kharagpur. She had started an intensive talim from her father Late Sri Bijoy Kumar Nath who was a disciple of world renowned Sarod Maestro Pandit Radhika Mohan Moitra, Pandit Shaym Ganguly and later from legendary Rabab Maestro Pandit Birendra Kishore Roychoudhury. Then following her life she received an affectionate learning from world renowned sitar maestro Pandit Indranil Bhattacharya for a long time in Kolkata. After his sudden demise she is now receiving her advanced lessons under the affectionate tutelage from another distinguished Sitar and Surbhar Maestro Pandit Santosh Bandopadhyay till today
