Sunil Kataria's professional career as a VJ started with DD Punjabi’s (Jalandhar Doordarshan) evening live show "Panj Vaje LIVE" (Live @ 5) which goes across 55 countries in the world. So far he has done numerous live shows in which he interacted with dynamic personalities of Punjab. Sunil has also done a telefilm as a project head named “Maayian Rabb Rajaayian” for the Punjabi’s living abroad based on Sikhism. Sunil owns a credit of hosting various special live and road shows for TV and Radio on special occasions and festivals.
Upcoming Punjabi movie 'Desi Munde' will be his launch pad to big screen as an actor. Sunil has acted in an advertisement of Planning Commission, Govt. of India for the promotion of AADHAR. In Desi Munde he is playing the character of a young boy Sonu. Sonu is a friend of Garry (Balkar Sidhu).
