The Bandishers is Indian classical fusion band from Mumbai. It was started by Suyog and Anuj, who are a duo for more than 2 years. Then came Gandhar and Tejovrush. Gandhar is very talented Indian classical singer and son of renowned classical singer Pt.Dr.Ram Deshpande. Tejovrush who plays tabla comes from a musical family too. His mother Mrs.Shalmalee Joshi and father Mr. Sunil Joshi are also well known musicians. Anuj is multi talented boy. He plays keyboard, guitar, bass, flute and much more. He has been taking classical as well as Western music knowledge for quite a long time. Suyog is drummer/percussionist. Has been playing since he was 8 and has been student of maestro Taufiq Qureshi , Gino banks for more than 2 years. The band is based on classical fusion theme. As the name suggests its about bandish composed in indian classical form moulded into fusion.
