UDX Originally formed in 2008 as ‘Dementia’, the band currently goes by the name ‘UDX’ and is based in Dimapur, Nagaland, India. Along with alternative metal/hard rock as generic musicality, the band likes to blend hues of rock, blues, and funk genre as musical style. Ideally dedicated to social causes, the band’s music is strummed to the harmony of society, thematic with rhyme forms.Apart from the awards, the band have had the privilege of playing in various places in the North East and other cities of India and abroad.UDX has released its debut album at entitled “Drop Made The Difference” on 31st of August 2012, at ‘My Place’ Dimapur. The songs speak about the personal struggles while growing up in society and needing a higher power to help them. Prisoner of War (POW), Panacea, Why, Superhero, Infection are the songs that were written about such issues and the faith of the band in the infallible God.
