Yamini reddy Dance is the poetry of movement, and making a mark with many such lyrical verses is danseuse Yamini Reddy. Born to the legendary Kuchipudi exponents, Padma Bhushan awardees Dr. Raja and Radha Reddy, Yamini has got dance in inheritance from her parents. Endowed with a sculpted figure, an expressive face and scintillating grace, Yamini has a very captivating stage presence with the right aptitude for rhythm and expressions. Yamini learnt Kuchipudi from her parents and gave her first solo performance at the tender age of three when she cajoled her parents to allow her to perform at Kamani auditorium in New Delhi. Watching a girl of that age perform a full length Tarangam, left the audiences awestruck and the applause she got from the viewers was remarkable
