Yashpreet kaur was born on 20 may 1986 in gaya,bihar,india to sikh parents sardar gursewak singh and sardarni charandeep kaur.her father is well known chitrakar and her mother was a very sweet and loving house wife.at the age of 3 year she perfomed (shabad)first time on stage that day her potentials of singing was discovered by her parents.after few years she starting learning music mainly hindi songs and punjabi songs from her first guru her father.after that she started getting formal training of hindustani classical music from faculty of music presently she continued her classical and semi classical training from delhi gharana khalifa USTAD IQBAL AHMED KHAN sahib
