Run at your own place: Virtual (Mara/cyclo)thon organized by Omega Events

A lot has been spoken about how technological advances are changing the fate and face of various industries. Omega Events has organized a Virtual Marathon unique in the kind that, people participating in that marathon have to use applications like Strava, Runkeeper, Nike, Endomondo etc. to measure their distance and time in which they cover their distances.

Deepak from Omega Events says,” Participants have to cover 10 km in 14 days from the day they register with us. It is up to them whether they cover a km per day, or 10! This is a run to promote fitness.” Speaking about how technological advances are helping them to conduct events today Deepak says,” All that participants have to do is to share a screenshot of their timing app on a WhatsApp number  8097712656.”

About the price that Omega Events will give to everyone that completes the task Deepak says,” Omega Events has been unique in designing the medals that are given to finishers and in this event they will receive a medal and e-certificate via courier.”
