It Is September And Ziro Festival Of Music Is Back

Yes, it is time for One of India’s longest-running music festivals,  Ziro Festival Of Music, the annual celebration of music and bonhomie . This year, the eighth edition of the four-day music extravaganza will be returning to action from September 26-29, 2019 at Arunachal Pradesh

The festival will witness some stellar performances by Chochung Dema, Dreamhour, Karma, Acid Mothers Temple, Amrit Rao & The Madrascals, Lunch, Ouzo Bazooka, Still Waters, That Boy Robby and many more. Apart from India, ZIRO 2019 will play host to international artists and bands including Indonesia, Israel, Korea, Lithuania, Japan and more.

Offering an energetic fusion of art, music, and culture in the heart of Ziro Valley, this time the festival promises whole art workshops, a sustainable design workshop, comedy and storytelling sessions, interesting installations, adventure sports and, of course, a lot of exciting afterparties. This year the Big Biking Commune & Escapade Northeast Bike Tour is hosting a ride to the Ziro Festival of Music

There is so much more to do at the festival other than grooving to the music. Visitors can go to the mountain fields or nearby villages. They can also experience a hot air balloon ride. They can visit the Apatani tribe and discover about their interesting culture. They can buy souvenirs as the tribespeople there are skilled artisans

There are abundant accommodation facilities at the ZIRO festival. Camps are set up in the scenic lush green valleys surrounded by paddy fields and bamboo forests, and special custom packages are also available for the visitors. One can choose from basic camps to ones that come with more luxurious interiors and includes meal plans as well.
