A Successful Completion Of The 1st Edition Of Events Today Conclave !

IESA Chennai Chennai Chapter hosted its first ever Events Today conclave, where ideas met innovation at The Hotel Elite Grand OMR, Chennai on 16^th and 17^th October, 2019 along with six other associations- TCEI,TEMA,EMAK,KEMA,South Indian Professional Audio And Lights Welfare Association and THGOA. The theme of the conclave was events today and beyond 2020.

The event was entirely based on learning, networking, understanding current  trends and updates and also expert experiences in different formats such as key note sessions, discussions, brainstorming and speeches throughout the days. The eminent speakers of the show consisted of Mr. Mukesh Azad, GP. Captain R. Vijayakumar, Mr. Nanu Binu, Mr. M.S. Jagan, Mr. C. Sivakumar, Mr. Vijay Kumar, Mr. Harjinder Singh, Mr. Vikas Chawla, Mr. Hemachandran, Mr. Sujit, Mr. Vadivel Pillai, Mr Mankaran Singh, Mr. Vaibhav Kapoor, Mr. Adnaan Adeeb, Prof. Ujjwal Chowdhury, Mr. Khushroo Kekobad, Mr. Deepak Pawar and Kannan Gireesh round the two day long yet, vibrant event with over 150 delegates.

The event was truly an extravaganza with the first day filled with different addresses and speakers giving insights of their experiences and thanks to the gathering and dignitaries also acknowledging everyone .It was inaugurated by Mr. TN Manoharan, Chairman, Canara Bank and presided by Guest of Honour, Mr. Vijay Kumar, Group Captain(ED-MMA).

The second day was all about self growth through learning and understanding different concepts such as team work for success, building a successful IP, rise of events and experiential market in India, fundamentals of event management, branding, mind magics, importance to health and safety at events, finance and one of the most important insurance among others.

Over the years, business patterns, strategies and systems have witnessed paradigm changes. Today, technology has revolutionized the way events are being organized. From an Unorganized sector, slowly, but gradually, the event industry is moving towards an Organized sector. All these changes also bring challenges of sustainability with them. Organizing this kind of Conclave provides ample opportunities to share the wisdom, generate views on how to meet the challenges of present day business environment and learn how to flourish in the Event Industry.
