The 7th edition of readers’ choice India’s Best Awards were hosted by Travel + Leisure India & South Asia last week at ITC Maurya in New Delhi. There were 58 awards of different categories varied from the best country to emerging destination, cruise to business hotel, airport to destination spa, and honeymoon destinations in India and across the world.
There was even a category for Best Hotel for Women Travelers, which was shared by Roseate House, New Delhi and Hyatt Regency. This is a very important category, and the hotels need to be listed as such. Roseate House, New Delhi pointed out that they take special care of single women travelers, giving them rooms at their choice of floor, close to the elevator, etc.

Aindrila Mitra, Editor, Travel + Leisure India & South Asia, said: “IBA is our marquee event and it’s simply our way of thanking the industry for all the efforts that go behind making travel a pleasurable experience. This year especially, with our digital footprint growing rapidly, we’ve seen massive engagement on our voting site over the last three months – a clear-cut indication that T+L India continues to dominate not only the print publishing media in travel and hospitality, but is also making its strong presence felt in the digital world.”
