Pantone - The colour institute, declared 'Living Coral' as Colour of the Year 2019. This is inspired by rare sea reefs and global political crises, as its must-have hue for 2019. It’s replacing this year’s colour UltraViolet, a deep purple hue.
Pantone is the world-famous authority on colour and provider of colour systems and leading technology for the collection and precise communication of colour across a variety of industries.
The light, bright and peachy orange shade named the Pantone, “Living Coral" and has branded as its 2019 Colour of the Year represents the energy and comfort called for in a "continually shifting environment," says Pantone, which influences hues that show up in fashion, events, weddings, home design and every aspect of our lives.
The colour represents the essence of nature and how we need to work towards saving it in every way possible as that is the only way to survive at present and in the future. The colour took everyone by storm creating a historical influence on every trend around the globe in every aspect of design. Be it events, wedding, architecture, interior decor, fashion, food, travel and the list are endless. Living Coral was chosen by a 20-person team after intensive research done worldwide by Pantone keeping the trends, colour influences and the current design movement in mind
